The Wager Model 7500 Smoke Meter, designed by Applied Data Sciences, is currently being used in New York for the diesel inspection program. Smoke meters measure the amount of light blocked, thus not only improving environmental conditions, but also provides an excellent diagnosis of diesel engines.
FreshLoc Data Reduction and Collection System
The FreshLoc Data Reduction and Collection System is another product that Applied Data Sciences has created. The FreshLoc company produces sensors that identify temperatures for food producers. Applied Data Sciences developed the software that retrieves the data from the sensors, reassembles data into messages, and then broadcasts the data via TCP/IP.
